Bug fix:

  • Fixed critical bug that caused app to crash (grey screen).

Categorization fixes

1.6.6 (April'11, 2018)

Categorization has been improved:

  • The weight of the web&app icons has been reduced
  • App log in has become faster
  • The categorization experience should be more smooth now

Automatic Productivity&Time Tracking

1.6.4 - 1.6.5 (April'05, 2018)

Manual task tracking provides a lot of control over your behavior, sets your actions a meaningful work context and cuts off the unrelevant data. But sometimes we just forget to push that button.

We took care you'll feel safe about it.

Starting today, Y-Productive logs your activities automatically:

You just need to have the application open in the background.

  • The automatically tracked data is indicated by the gradient colored bars. If needed, you can assign it to any task retrospectively. Doing so will match the gradient colors with the appropriate task.

  • As usual, you still can manage and track your tasks to receive statistics for Projects and Productivity reports, and to add work context to your performance feedback.

Y-Productive is now a truly unique tool that combines the benefits of an automated time tracking, task management and provides a deep insight into your productivity in a comprehensive and simple way.

Hope you'll like the changes!

Y-Productive Goes Safari

1.6.3 (Mar'30, 2018)

Good news for macOS users! Y-Productive now supports Safari browser on desktop.

The functionality includes websites tracking and website blocker (aka Focus Mode). With that, we now have extensions for three most popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox and Safari:

You can download the Safari extension in Y-Productive`s Settings menu.

Better, Faster, Stronger

1.6.1 - 1.6.2 (March'29, 2018)

As our work is never over, Y-Productive becomes even better version of a personal productivity app. The improvements include:

Fixed:

  • Duplicated tasks are fixed.
  • AFK notifications. Earlier you had to do something like this, and we are greatful for your patience. Now AFK notifications only show up when the task tracking is on.
  • Fixed stats calculation in Project details. It is more accurate now.
  • Fixed tasks scroll. Tasks no longer collapse with the Intercom badge.

New:

  • Tasks can be scheduled for the future date. Say, you work on some task and know you will return to it on next week`s Tuesday? Schedule the task to that date and it will appear on your list on Tuesday, with all your tracked progress saved!

  • Changed date picker in History. Now it shows the date and the day of the week for more comfortable browsing.

  • Reworked whole task management under the hood. The app will provide more stable, fast and smoth experience with tasks and projects.

Productivity Reports

1.6.0 (March'29, 2018)

New:

  • Did you enjoy the summarized statistics for Projects? Now there is one more reason to push that tracking button for your current task or project:

With new Productivity Reports you can receive even more insight into your productivity on tasks or projects and get summarized stats covering your performance by days, weeks or months.

Delete for Projects

1.5.5 (March'08, 2018)

New:

  • Added Delete for Projects. If you hate any particular Project, you can delete it to the ground. Feel free to banish it to the oblivion - but remember that your tasks in History will be unassigned if you delete the Project they were assigned to.

Fixed:

  • Menu in Projects scroll. The uncatchable menu under (...) button was irritating you so much you've probably stopped using Projects. Now it works fine - thanks to our dev Max who has literally gone into "I'll fix it right now" rage mode.

  • Keybord interactions with pop ups in-app. Good news for lovers of keyboard-only workflow.

Scroll for Projects

1.5.2 (March'01, 2018)

New:

  • Added Scroll for Projects. Now you can have as much Projects as you want and navigate with comfort. In the next update (1.5.5) we will add Deleting Projects option.

Stay tuned! We'll appreciate your feedback to make Projects as useful as they can possibly be :)

Projects are finally here!

1.5.1 (February'28, 2018)

New:

  • All of us waited for it to happen for so long! Projects are finally here!

Please note:

We wanted to deliver you the long-awaited feature ASAP, so we decided to ship it partially. We will be constantly updating the app with new Projects functionality, such as scroll and deleting a Project. We will also improve the feature based on your feedback and known cases, so please reach us and share your experience.

We’re currently working on:

  • Adding an option to delete a Project. It will be added in the update after next (1.5.3).

  • Polishing project scroll. Right now, you can create up to 10 Projects without any issues. However, having more will require a scroll - we will bring it in the 1.5.2. update.

Tray Improvements, Base for the Safari extention support

1.4.2 (February'26, 2018)

New:

  • Safari extention relations implemented in the app core. We still need to pass the extention review (~3 weeks), but hey - we will soon support all the popular browsers!

Fixed:

  • Icon in tray on Windows now has the "Quit" button. Missing it was a pain, right?
