Welcome back, Veern

On April 2014 I released the original version of Veern with a simple idea, making time zones easier.

Today, after 4 years of the initial release, Veern is coming back. The app is completely new, with different features and a new UI. But the core idea is still the same, making time zones easier.

This is an initial and basic version of the app. There are many more ideas and features that I have in mind that I would like to include soon to make the app the perfect tool to manage time zones and to connect with other people more easy.

This initial release includes two main and basic features to start managing time zones more easily.

  • Places: Add the places you want to keep track, and we will take care of making sure that you always know what time it is.
  • Reminders: You can add reminders for each place that you added so you never miss anything there.

Another fantastic feature is the option to add a widget to the widgets view to quickly know the time of all the time zones that you added without the need to unlock the device and open the app.

The app is now available to download for free from the iOS App Store (it requires iOS 11.0).

After this initial release, I will start exploring the option to release the app on Android and also on the web.
