Spell Check is disabled for exams & tests

In an exam can you put 3 kinds of text-entry question:

  • Question with a text field
  • Question with a text area
  • Question with a rich text editor

In all of the above options, the user is expected to write a text.

Before the version 8.06 of the Test Invite Exam Software; if the user had enabled spell checker in the browser settings, his answer would be checked by the "spell checker".

As of the 8.06 version, we prevent the "spell checker" to check the misspellings in the text.

The new Users Module has been activated for all accounts

Most of our customers love the way our question bank work because it is very flexible in the sense that it lets you store, organize and find back your questions in multiple ways. The question querying editor in the question bank stores the index of all the folders and tags automatically so that you can make selection of multiple tags and have a narrowed list of questions. You can create as many folders as you like and you can assign any kind of tags to your questions.

Now, we offer the same capabilities in the users module as well. Unlike before, you can now add your users into folders and assign tags. Thanks to the querying editor, these folders and tags will let you find back the right set of users very quickly.

  • Inside the task editor, when you click on the Add User Tickets you will face the user query editor where you can pick folder and select tags to find the right set of users easily. For example you can pick the "Students" folder and click on the "Class: B" tag to list the students having the Class tag as B.

  • In your organization settings page you can let users sign-up by themselves into your organization. You can also set the default folder and tags for these users so that people who sign-up by themselves are automatically put into the right folder with the default tags.

File Uploader question in Lockdown exams

Among the answering options for the input question is File Uploader where the user responds to the question by selecting a file in the computer.

This question type now complies with the lockdown exams as well. The user is expected to select a file within a limited time (default is 30 seconds). During this time frame only can the user violate the fullscreen enforcement rule and browse the computer. If it takes more than 30 seconds to select the file, the online exam software will terminate the test.

Embed your test into your website

You can now easily generate the HTML code to insert into your web page so that your test appears inside your website.

When the customized legal notice/consent of the exam is too long

Students or candidates who would like to take an online exam can be asked to confirm a customized legal notice/consent prior to starting the exam. Read this article to learn how you can setup you own legal notice/consent content.

We had been reported that this confirmation dialog screen was causing some minors problems in a few devices when the content is too long.

Fortunately we've applied a fix for this issue. From now on, the dialog screen comes with a maximum height so that the "I Confirm" button is always visible without any scrolling.
