What's new?

Button to Drawer

This past month we've been working hard on launching a new widget: the Button to Drawer. It's a subtle widget that allows your customers to be notified on new products, collections and more. Learn more here.

A new website

We're committed to the vision of building even more smart, automated notifications that customers actually want to receive. Our story, pitch and features are now clearly explained for everyone to see. See it live here.

January is about to wrap up and it was a big month for us at ShopPop.


What's new?

Minimal widgets

All our existing widgets that can be active on Shopify are now updated to be more minimal and fit your store better. We aim to make subtle widgets that don't distract your customers all too much. Sign in to ShopPop to check it out.

Comment-to-Instagram

It's finally here! You can now automatically respond to comments on Instagram posts. This is super useful to run campaigns with Instagram without a lot of effort. Book a demo with us here and learn more.

New demo store

We now have a new shiny demo store to showcase all our tools and features. It's called Convos and you check it out here.

Updated Shopify listing

To reflect all these new features from the last few months, we updated our Shopify app listing.

This month we're getting ready for a big month of January. We can't share much yet: but there's one thing we can share this month.


What's new?

Pricing update: Bundles

Tiers are out and bundles are in. From now on you have total control of how many alerts you can send and how much you’re charged. View the available bundles here. Bundles in Commerce get our Capture and Grow tools (including Instagram) for free. There are no other additional costs. How about that?!

This month is exciting! We launched our very first Instagram features.


What's new?

Instagram keyword reply

Get your customers or audience to send keywords in Instagram that trigger your campaign straight in their Instagram DM’s.

Instagram story mention

Run user generated content campaigns with Instagram stories. Whenever a customer or fan of your brand mentions your Instagram business, you can respond automatically.

What's new?

Pop-up widget can now appear anywhere on your site

The Pop-up widget used to trigger abandoned cart reminders is now much more flexible. It can be put anywhere on your site by defining the exact URL it should be on. Easy peasy!

Store alerts on the post-purchase widget

Our recently launched feature called Store Alerts is now not only available on the Pop-up widget but also on the Post-purchase Widget.

What's new?

Back in stock — now working with product variants

Previously the back in stock widget that appears on your store didn't quite work with product variants. We're happy to say that is now working as expected. If a customer opts-in for back in stock notifications while on a variant that is out of stock, the back in stock notification will link directly to the correct variant.

Facebook Privacy Update — Important features are back!

Facebook has announced that important features to ShopPop, the one-time notification and receipt template are back in action for European and Japanese users on Facebook Messenger.

A revamped Commerce section for the ShopPop dashboard

This is a big one! We redesigned the commerce section in the dashboard to give you an easier overview of the widgets that are active and what they can do.

Major improvements to our back-end

Our talented engineers have made a big effort to make our setup of commerce tools and widgets more flexible. This will make it easier for us to design and build new widgets and tools in the future.

This month, we focused on a new feature for Messenger and WhatsApp in our Commerce section. Along with multiple bugfixes and improvements.

What's new?

Store Alerts — Send various alerts to your customers

This new feature allows you, when your Shopify store is connected, to send various store alerts to your customers.

The difference with our other alerts like, abandoned cart reminders, back in stock notifications is that the store alerts are alerts you can send manually. That means that whenever a new collection is ready and you're ready to push it to customers that opted-in, you can send it to them.

We're launching with the following templates:

  • New product message
  • New brand alert
  • Product recommendation
  • Product sales alert
  • Coupon code
  • New collection alert
  • Newsletter

You can find the new store alerts in the Commerce > Store Alerts section of the dashboard.
