Excited to announce our integration with Steltronic. While still in beta, he Steltronic integration will push new reservations directly into the Steltronic lane manager. We're excited to be able to service Steltronic's global client base. We're currently testing this integration with a few clients and will announce when it is available for everyone.
As we head into our last week of Q1 there are many updates we want to share. We've made some new integrations, updated existing ones and improved payments security. Let's jump in.
We've had a productive start to the year and picked up right where we left off. Here is what we added this week. In the coming weeks we're going to be making improvements to the package.
This is our final update of the year and it's a big one! 2021 was a huge year for us and we are very happy with where we are ending the year. We've spoken with a lot of clients and make many impactful additions to REX. The good news is we expect 2022 to be even bigger. In our latest update, we launched party packages, walk-in reservations, made UI updates, and added a buffer time option.
Venues can now list and sell preset party packages side by side of reservations
A package can tie in to your existing inventory. For example if you sell bowling lanes, you can create party packages that are available based on your lane availability
A package can be fixed price or it can be priced per guest
A package can have a minimum or maximum number of guests that can book it
A package can have its own schedule separate from the reservations schedule
You can now add a buffer time at the end of reservations to account for clean up or change time
Updated the calendar icons on mobile to be larger and improves responsiveness
Added custom language for events and packages
Fixed an issue with Stripe payments where guests were getting charged if their reservation booing failed -Admins can now book reservations from the dashboard and skip payment. This is useful for walk-in reservations
Updated the visual calendar to include package reservations and walk-ins

What's Next?
We're planning on rolling out the ability to create preset party packages that include a reservation plus food and beverage. We're expecting this to be ready before the end of the year.

We didn't push any updates last week but we've been working on redesigning the admin dashboard and making it mobile responsive. When these updates are done, venue managers will be able to control every setting from their phones. The team is expecting to push the first updates by the end of this week.
