Recent updates

In the last few weeks we’ve made the following improvements to RelayPad:

New member profiles

There’s now a dedicated page that collects all of your published notes and your contact info. As you write and publish notes, this becomes a compelling feed of what you’ve been working on with your team. We’ve got some big plans in store for this page in the near future.

Improved login experience when sharing a note

When someone tries to access a note you’ve shared, they need to confirm they are part of your team by authenticating with Slack before they can read the note. We’ve updated the screen readers see to make this clearer.

New note actions menu

Several actions you can take on a note (such as downloading, deleting, or getting a shareable URL) have been grouped under a new menu in the note editor.

New F.A.Q. page

We’ve gathered some of the most common questions people have had about RelayPad and given them their own page. Let us know what other questions you have by contacting us!

Big updates to our Slack integration

RelayPad helps organize and share your team’s best ideas, and now it’s easier to do that without leaving Slack. We’ve added the following features to the RelayPad Slack app:

  • Preview RelayPad notes shared in Slack - When you share a link to a RelayPad note in a channel or conversation, Slack will unfurl the URL to show a preview of the note’s content.
  • Search your team’s published notes - Just type /relaypad search [your text] in any channel to search your team’s published notes.
  • Receive RelayPad notifications right in Slack - Want to know when someone @mentions you or comments on your note? You can now get a DM when that happens.
  • Save Slack messages as RelayPad notes - The next time someone shares a brilliant idea in a chat, start a RelayPad note with that message using the actions menu in Slack.

These features are available today to all teams that have added the RelayPad integration in Slack. To do that, install the RelayPad app from the Slack App Directory

We’re starting a changelog

We’re adding a public release notes page so you’re always up to date with all the updates, improvements and fixes that are made in RelayPad.

Even though we work on RelayPad all the time, sometimes it may seem that not much is happening. This page is here to improve that very important part of the communication between you and us.

Thanks for using RelayPad!
