While digging into the Google Search Analytics API, we discovered we could provide much more flexibility in our filtering options than we had built into the tool.
Now, when building filters in Search Analytics, you can filter by country, device, page, and search appearance. That allows you to drill down to just the keywords that you really care about—whether it's queries coming from India, countries using tablets, or whatever slice of data matters most.
Pro-Tip: Filters can be saved and used in WYSIWYG Reports! Just click the Save button, give it a name, and set your new filter to Profile or Global.
