There's some significant updates to the page-speed reports at Raileo. Lighthouse has added to new 3 scoring metrics and we have integrated them to Raileo as well.

Core Web Vitals are the subset of Web Vitals that apply to all web pages.. Each of the Core Web Vitals represents a distinct facet of the user experience, is measurable in the field, and reflects the real-world experience of a critical user-centric outcome.

3 new metrics have been added.

  2. First Input Delay (FID)
  3. Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)

2 metrics have been removed

  1. First meaningful Paint (FMP)
  2. First CPU Idle (FCI)

Act faster with quick actions

Update: 8th June 2020

Quick actions deprecated in favour of the table snapshot view of the websites in the dashboard.

It is possible that you might miss out the notifications we sent about downtime or SSL expiration. That's why we are introducing "Quick Actions" to Raileo dashboard. Quick actions helps to summarize the problems that needs your attention in your website. It lists out the websites that are down, or the expiring SSL details.

Priority Monitoring

There are some exciting changes we made to the downtime monitoring and notifications. So far, we were monitoring websites based on the intervals you've provided, and notifications were sent for every downtime found. Straight and simple.

But simple does not mean efficient

Now that we made the monitoring efficient, here's how this works.

  • We check your website based on the interval you've mentioned
  • If we find your website is down, we switch monitoring interval to 1 minute and we sent you a notification right away.
  • Now that we are checking your website every 1 minute, you'll receive the next notification only when your website is up.
  • When we find that your website is up, we send you a detailed notification mentioning for how long your website was down, in minutes.

Efficient, right ?

New Pricing model 💵

A big announcement about our pricing model.

We decided to to remove the complicated pricing plans and go the easy way. Now the subscriptions are based on Raileo are based on quantity.

Quantity = Number of websites you want to monitor

You can check our pricing in detail in our website

Notification channel settings for each website

We have made some significant changes to notification settings for your website. So far, the notification channels settings were common for all the websites. This offered limited control over how you receive notifications for different events.

We made this more flexible now.

For each website, you can have different notification channel settings and this will help you and your clients to receive the right notification for the right website. You can find the notification settings for the website in Raileo Dashboard

Improved Pagespeed notification by threshold

Currently after every pagespeed scan, we sent out a notification to user with all the scores and metrics. Receiving this notification can be bit annoying.

So We've made this notification smarter

In the pagespeed monitoring settings, you can set threshold (a score that you're expecting for a metric). While we scan your website, if we find any of the scores are less than what you've mentioned, we will send you notifications.

That's less notification than before but more informative
