You can now manage the order notes and additional details on recurring orders placed by Loop.

Auto-clear order notes and attributes when a subscription is created

This is useful when you don't want the notes and attributes set on the original checkout order to appear on the recurring orders placed by Loop. For order attributes, you can specify individual fields to clear while keeping the rest of data to keep appearing in the future orders.

You can add or edit order notes and attributes (additional details) on a specific subscription. It can be used to capture and store specific instructions provided by some customers for their next orders.

Partial billing support for stock-out situations

Partial billing is supported now as part of inventory settings. You can chose to charge customers only for the items available in stock and automatically skip the items which are currently out of stock.

You can access it by via Settings > Inventory > When at least one item is available.

You can also set limit on what should be the minimum amount of order you want to ship. If the total price of items available is below the amount, then the system will pick up the inventory setting configured for "No items available".

We also have added a separate notification for "Order partially billed" which is sent to the customer and admin after the order is placed successfully.

Custom CSS support in Customer Portal + change priority for upsell products

You can now add custom CSS in Loop customer portal to implement custom styling rules which are not currently supported by standard Loop style configurations.

You can access it by via Customer portal > Styles > Show advanced configurations > Custom CSS

Change order of Recommended products

Another minor improvement released related to Customer portal is that you can now change the order of recommended products in the Upsell settings.

Integration: Glow Loyalty

Loop now supports Loyalty discount codes generated by Glow.

To activate the integration, you can simply click the Connect button. Once you click, you authorize the Loop app to modify the discount codes created by the Glow Loyalty app on your store.

Discount control has also been added to Auto-update price settings in Loop.

Similar to Loop swap discounts, here also you can decide if you would want to apply existing discounts with new updated price or recalculate discounts as per the selling plan associated with the product.

Loop swap flow has now been made more powerful allowing merchants to decide how the discounts need to be calculated when customer swap a subscription product.

As part of discount settings, you can choose if the same discount needs to be applied as was on the original product or recalculate discounts as per the selling plan associated with the new product.

Limited duration pause

You can now configure limited duration pause flow in Loop. With this update, you can auto-resume paused subscriptions at a scheduled date as chosen by the customer.

How to access the feature?

  • Navigate to Customer portal > Preferences > Scroll down to Pause subscription section
  • You can configure pause duration intervals and also decide if you want to allow customers to choose a custom date.

Key benefits:

  • Auto-activate paused subscriptions without needing to send any customer reminders.
  • Reduce subscription churn by asking users to pause for sometime instead of cancelling the subscription.

Loop smart upsell settings

We are excited to announce the release of Loop smart upsell settings. Increase your subscriber AOV by showing smart upsell recommendations powered directly via Loop.

You can access the feature by going to Customer portal > Upsell.

Key features/ changes:

  • Customer permissions to add product one-time or subscription have been moved from "Preferences" to "Upsell".
  • Choose Recommended products to show in priority order in the customer portal upsell section.
  • Configure One-time product discounts to incentivize customers to add one-time addons on their upcoming subscription order.
  • Restrict products to not show on customer portal by adding them in the Excluded products list.
  • Products already added on subscription will automatically hide from the upsell section.

Loop Reporting V2.0

Loop Reporting V2.0 is live now and can be accessed via existing navigation "Reporting". As part of this upgrade, we have rebuild the complete reporting infra from scratch. New system is more robust and allows us to ship changes (existing or new reports) much faster.

Major upgrades

  • Support for filters to view and export the relevant data.
  • New reports added - Subscribers and Transactions.
  • Subscribers report provide information related to active subscriptions, subscribed products and total spent.
  • Transactions report provide list of all transactions processed (Success or failed) with subscription, order, customer and payment related info.
  • Additional data-points added in Subscriptions report which now has 40+ datapoints.
  • Improved user-experience for visualizing and exporting the reporting data.

Cancellation discounts

We are excited to announce the public release of Loop Cancellation discounts. Using this feature, you can provide one-time discount to customers trying to cancel their subscription.

Where to find the setting?

Go to Customer portal > Cancellation Flows > Scroll down to Cancellation discounts.

Key features:

  • Decide eligible customers based on their orders and revenue activity.
  • Configure cancellation reason specific copies and add cool GIFs for better customer engagement.
  • Extensive controls to prevent discount abuse both at customer and subscription level.
  • Discount codes are strictly subscription specific and cannot be used on other subscriptions.
  • See the discount incentive performance directly from Loop cancellation dashboard.
