Important updates:

We've made some adjustments to the Campaign's dashboard table. 🌟 The "Campaign Name" column is wider to make it easier to read and we kept only the most important metrics so you can check the performance at a glance. Also, the "Ad Accounts" dropdown is now to the left for ease of access.

In other news, we fixed an issue on the creation of Video Views campaigns where it was not possible to select the "Existing Posts" from your page. You should now be able to select this option and pick the video posts you want to use in your campaign. πŸŽ₯

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 11 bugs! 🐞


Important updates:

We solved a few issues related with Placements. πŸ“±πŸ’» One where the new "Facebook Search" placement was missing from the options, and another one where the "Instagram Explore" placement was being selected without the Instagram platform being selected as well - causing the campaign to launch without Ad Sets. Both cases are working as expected now! ⚑️

Another important issue solved is when you tried to click the toggle off for a deleted campaign. The page was crashing with this action, but not anymore! πŸ’ͺ

Finally, we found and fixed some specific cases where the Ad Sets for Super Interests were not refreshing in the Review page if you selected/deselected them going back and forth in the campaign creation pages.

8Mb is the largest permitted size. You will get an error message if you upload larger images.

We solved an issue where the refresh button in the Preview section of the Ad Content page was not working correctly when you tried it on a Duplicated Campaign. All ad previews are loading now. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Also, when creating a new campaign on the Campaign setup, if you selected Conversions and switched to another campaign type rapidly, the Begin button showed "inactive". It's now fixed as well in case you had noticed it! πŸ’ͺ

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 8 bugs! 🐞


Important updates:

If you launch a campaign without changing the default placements, it's set up in Ads Manager to use "Automatic Placements" - which we normally recommend! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

The last few days we experienced some cases where this was not happening because of Facebook's new API updates, but everything is now working correctly, and we've taken measures to minimise this kind of bugs happening. πŸ’ͺ

Another important fix is the Insights PDF. We've worked on it to improve the way it displays the tables and graphs. They're a very easy way of exporting and sharing reports! πŸ“Š

Last but not least… the days of the "endless spinny wheel" are over! This was a bug where the Campaigns had been launched correctly but the modal with the spinny wheel kept going for longer. Thanks for bearing with us on this one 🐻 as we know some of you run into this issue.

A couple things to notice when using the Platform:

  • If you create a new ad and don’t change the CTA, it defaults to "No Button" on Ads Manager.
  • It's not possible to copy a deleted campaign.
  • You can't duplicate a campaign if you don’t have access to the Page.

πŸš€ Audiences: Custom & Lookalike lists, and more!

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 17 bugs 🐞 and made 3 feature improvements! 🌟


Important updates:

Audiences are one of the most important components of any campaign.

So we wanted to bring your Audiences closer to you! 🀩

In this new release, you will see a new sub-tab called "Custom & Lookalike" when you click on the "Audiences" tab in the top bar of the Campaign dashboard:

This will open a table which will show you all the existing Audiences that belong to the Ad Account selected in the dropdown. From this first dropdown you can choose any of the Ad Accounts you have access to.

On the second dropdown, you will be able to filter the list of Audiences by "All Audiences", "Custom Audiences" and "Lookalike Audiences":

This makes it so much easier to find and filter all your Audiences! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Moving on to the table, you will be able to see the following information about your Audiences:

  • Availability
  • Name
  • Source
  • Size
  • Type

The small dot in the first column will tell you the Availability of that specific Audience. If it's green it means the Audience is "ready" and if it's red it means "not ready" to be used. If you hover on the dot you will see further information, for example this one which is not available:

In the Name column you will see the full Audience Name and below the Source (if it was created in Facebook for example or a different source).

Then on the Size column you will see how big the audience is (how many people). When an Audience is smaller than 1,000 people then it will say "Below 1,000".

Finally, the Type column will tell you whether it is a Custom Audience or a Lookalike Audience. It will include as well additional information for Custom Audiences like the sub-type, for example: Conversion Event, Instagram Engagement, Website, etc.

So, what if you want to edit any of those Audiences?

There is a button in the top right corner "Edit Audiences" that will let you do just that! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ It will redirect you to a new tab on the browser which will load Facebook’s Asset Library.

As you can see there's also a "Create Audience" button that will guide you to the right place to create new Custom Audiences:

Multiple Super Interests is now live!

After much testing and research we've realised that Super Interests can have a big impact in the campaign's results and having several at the same time can improve the cost of acquisition and generate results at a higher pace (while the Crucible is gathering data).

Now you'll be able to select up to 13 Super Interests instead of just 1! ⚑️

How does it work?

When you are in the Interest section of the Audience page, you can search and choose all the interests you want to target as usual:

Once you've selected at least 30 interests, then you will unlock the Super Interest functionality and you will have the option of selecting "Multiple Super Interests" by turning ON the toggle:

Then you can choose up to 13 Super Interests. You can see how many you have selected in the counter:

Once this is done and you continue with the campaign creation flow you will reach the Review page. Here you will be able to see in the list of Audience Adsets all the Super Interests that you selected.

If your campaign budget is at least Β£13 a day you will have the possibility of selecting up to 13 Audience Adsets, so you can choose which ones from the list you want to target.
