πŸš€ Date-Range Insights: Part 2, Conversion Metrics, and more!

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 12 bugs 🐞 and made 6 feature improvements! 🌟

πŸ“… Date-Range Insights

Part 2 of our Date-Range Insights feature is here!

Comparing and analysing insights over time is essential to understand the performance of your campaigns and test if your optimisations are having a positive impact. All this data can be difficult to digest, and that's why we've created a simple yet effective way of displaying this data. πŸš€

The Overview graph in the Insights dashboard now includes % indicators next to the metrics, showing whether there has been an increase or decrease in the numbers during a specific date-range, compared to the previous one.

In the image below, you can see for example how the Landing Page Views have increased 12% in the last 7 Days compared to the previous 7 Days.

Date-Range-Insights01.png

Data for the other available Date-Ranges is now displayed underneath in a new table, allowing you to view in detail your campaign performance over time. πŸ“ˆ

πŸ›’ Conversion Metrics

The Conversions section of the Insights dashboard highlights the most important events of your campaigns (Sales, Traffic, etc). πŸ”’

We've included 4 more events to make this section even more insightful for you. πŸ‘€

  • Contact
  • Subscribe
  • Cost Per Added To Cart
  • Cost Per Initiate Checkout

πŸ“ Size & Type of Interest

When selecting interests, it's important to pick the ones that you think are going to perform best depending on your campaign objective.

Today we are adding a new feature which displays the size and type of each interest. πŸ’₯ Very helpful info when choosing the best possible interests!

You can find it on the right hand side of the interests on the dropdown:

Interests01.png

And also when you hover over the "suggested" or selected" interests:

Interests02.png

▢️ Media Icons

We've introduced new icons next to the creatives in the Media section of the Insights dashboard to identify easily if it's an image or a video when you're looking at the data. ✌️

πŸš€ Turn ON/OFF Ad Creatives, Bulk Selection of Suggested Interests, and more!

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 7 bugs 🐞 and made 3 feature improvements! 🌟

🎚 Turn ON/OFF Ad Creatives

We're really happy to share with you this new feature! 🀩

We've received great feedback from many of you of the Best Performing Creatives section of the Insights dashboard, so we've taken it to the next level by adding the possibility of turning ON/OFF any specific creative.

The new toggle will turn ON/OFF all the ads in all the adsets of that campaign that have the same creative.

This works for the following ad creative types:

  • Image
  • Video
  • Text
  • Headline
  • Description
  • URL
  • CTA

This feature will allow you to optimise your campaigns even further and perform in seconds an action that could take many hours to do manually! ⏰πŸ’ͺ

Toggle.png

The image above shows an example of the toggles in the Media section and below in the Text section.

Text-Toggle.png

🧳 Bulk Selection of Suggested Interests

Speaking of amazing 'time saving' new toggles, we've introduced a new feature in the Interests section of the Audience page (in the campaign creation) that helps you select interests faster. ⚑️

Turning ON Bulk selection mode will allow you to:

  1. Select and add several of the suggested interests at the same time.
  2. Add all the suggested interests at once.

Select-Interests.png

We love creating functionality that makes the heavy lifting while saving you time, and this one does exactly that! 😍

🐞 Important Bug Fixes

  • Some of you experienced an issue where the Media section of the Best Performing Creatives insights was not displaying all the existing posts (creatives). This has been solved now! πŸ›

πŸš€ Ad Level Pixel Insights, Best Performing Adsets, and more!

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 16 bugs 🐞 and made 12 feature improvements! 🌟

Note: This is the first release from a new process we're implementing in our Product & Tech teams. It will allow us to make big releases every 2 weeks including new features and bug fixes. πŸ’ͺ So stay tuned!

πŸ“ˆ Ad Level Pixel: Insights

Part 1 of our Ad Level Pixel feature released a few weeks ago made it possible for you to launch Reach, Link Clicks, Post Engagement, Video Views & Brand Awareness campaigns, and retrieve data on which events are being triggered inside your website. This is something that previously was only possible when launching a Conversions campaign.

Today we are releasing Part 2 which allows you to see all this data in the Campaign Insights. We've created a new section called "Conversions" which tracks the following events:

AdLevelPixelInsights.png

πŸ“Š View Best Performing Adsets

We've added a new table to the Overview section of the Campaign Insights page. This table will display data for the Best Performing Adsets. It will give you an improved glance of the campaign's performance!

AdsetsInsights.png

πŸ” Search Table by Name

If you've launched many campaigns already, you probably have noticed that finding a specific campaign in the Campaign Dashboard can take a while. Those days are over! We've introduced a new Search at the top of the table which will allow you to filter by campaign name, to find any campaign fast and easily!

This applies to both Campaigns and Audiences πŸ‘πŸΌ

SearchCampaigns.png

πŸ” Zoom on Media

Since we released the table for Best Performing Creatives it's proven to be very helpful for many of you and we're very happy for that!

We were displaying the creatives thumbnails with the same size of the table rows to make it easier to read the data on the columns and compare between creatives, but sometimes this meant that it was difficult to look into the details of the creatives. That's why we've introduced a new functionality which allows you to hover on the thumbnails and open a larger version of the creative. 😎

πŸ–Ό New Placements Guides

Facebook constantly makes changes to their available placements and the way different creative sizes display in every placement. To make it easy for you, in the Media section of the Ad Content page (for any campaign type) there is a link to the Recommended Image Specs and when you click, an option to view the Leaf Grow Placements Guide.

We just updated all the Placements Guides with the latest Facebook changes! So they're at hand when you need them. πŸ’₯

🐞 Important Bug Fixes

  • If you duplicated a campaign, and removed the "Create New Ad" section, it would still launch with those ads.
  • New Video Views campaigns where crashing or not uploading media when trying to add a large video file or when uploading many videos at the same time.
  • The URL input kept glitching on the Ad Content page.
  • When choosing to create a new App Installs campaign, some apps where not appearing in the dropdown of the Apps section of the Campaign Setup page.
  • Also when choosing to create a new App Installs campaign, if you had more than one app, it only allowed you to select the first one.

All these bugs and many more have now been fixed πŸ›

πŸš€ Ad Level Pixel, and more!

Hello Leafers! On this release we fixed 2 bugs 🐞 and made 2 feature improvements! 🌟

Important updates:

Ad Level Pixel πŸ“‘

Previously, the only way to know & measure the effect of campaigns on your user's behaviour (after clicking an ad and landing on your website) was through Conversions campaigns and its tracking pixel.

Today we are implementing a new feature called Ad Level Pixel which makes it possible for you to launch Reach, Link Clicks, Post Engagement, Video Views and Brand Awareness campaigns, and still get data on which events are being triggered inside your website.

This is a biggie. This pixel data will allow you to see information about who purchased, added to cart, completed registration, and many other user behaviours on your website, which will help you understand even further the actual effect of your campaigns.

To make this possible we've added the pixel to the campaigns at the Ad Level.

Ad Level Pixel.png

As you can see on the image above, on the Review page of the campaign creation, you will find a new section called β€œInsights & Reporting”. If you click to turn the toggle ON, a dropdown will appear with a list of pixels you have access to. And just like that, you'll be able to track any type of campaign! πŸ’‘

Important updates:

URLs for downloading apps (links to the App Store or the Google Play store) can only be used with App Installs campaign type. πŸ“²

If you try to use those kind of links in a Link Clicks campaign for example you will see a notification saying "App URLs are only supported by App Installs campaign objectives."
