Sign your commits with GPG

New

From now on, hutte supports commit signing with GPG.

Using GPG, you can sign tags and commits locally. These tags or commits are marked as verified on GitHub (and other source control hosting) so other people can trust that the changes come from a trusted source.

You can generate your GPG key in your personal settings. Then you need to add your public key to GitHub (or your source control hosting).

Bitbucket Server support

New

We added support for Bitbucket Server on Premise. If your company has it, you can easily set up hutte to use a new connection. We also added support for SSH authorization for cloning git repositories.

Choose your sfdx cli version

New

Have you ever run into a problem with the new sfdx version? We did multiple times. That is why today we bring you a new update – you can choose the sfdx cli version in settings and no more worry about your scripts. Whenever you are ready with the new sfdx version, you can always switch it.

Clone your scratch org

New

Have you ever had a problem with your current scratch org? Metadata is messed up, or you just merged the latest changes into your branch? Now you can clone your scratch org, and we create it again with the same settings and with the same branch.

You can just continue working as you did with your previous scratch org.

Environment Variables

New

It is possible now to define your very own environment variables, which we load to every docker container to run scripts, create scratch orgs, and pull/push changes.

It means that you do not need to store hardcoded variables in your bash scripts and hutte.yml file.

For example, we use environment variables to save the package version always to install the latest version.

We're starting a changelog

New

We're starting a public changelog so you're always up to date with all the updates, improvements, and fixes that are made in hutte.io

Even though we work on Hutte all the time, sometimes it may seem that not much is happening. This changelog is here to improve that very important part of the communication between you and us.

You'll always receive an update when we change something in the widget, or if needed all things we've changed is available on our public changelog page.
