Click tracking, Snooze and Markdown improvements

As from today, Business customers can track links part of their emails! This feature was one of the most requested and we're glad to announce it's now part of Gmelius.

Snoozing a conversation from the message view will now redirect you to the newest thread instead of the Inbox view, saving you mouse clicks.

Finally, we completely rewrote our Markdown converter and added support for task lists and tables.

We're excited to announce that a brand new version of Gmelius is currently being released on a rolling basis!

Gmelius 8 has been rewritten from scratch. Our main goals were to offer more stability, increase performance and provide you with new and exciting features in the coming weeks and months. Network requests have now been optimized to avoid unnecessary bandwidth usage. We have also made a priority to give you all the information you could want when you want it with enhanced real time display.

Inbox support

Gmelius 8 is now completely compatible with Inbox by Gmail.

New To Do app

Gmelius 8 introduces a brand new Kanban like to-do list, where you can create task cards, turn emails into tasks and !use intuitive drag and drop gestures to move your tasks from one list (column) to the other.

Shared notes

Business subscribers can share notes with anyone on their Gmelius subscription, including those who weren’t previously on the conversation.

New App menu

A new menu has been put in place. And much more...

When will I get Gmelius 8?

Over the next couple of days, your account will automatically update to Gmelius 8.

Will my current configuration and data also be migrated?

We've made the transition as seamless as possible and you will not lose any previously snoozed, scheduled emails, templates etc.

Referral Program

We are happy to announce the release of our new Referral Program.

This program is available to all our free users and will allow you to give and get extra feature credits.

If you wish to try it, go to your dashboard, get to your Account tab and click on the “Get Free Credits” button, you will then be able to write down a friend's details.

As soon as your friend installs and logs on to Gmelius you will both get 10 extra credits for each feature.

That's an extra 10 snooze, schedule, to-do etc. for each of you!

You can also use your unique link to get extra feature credits by sharing it on social media or other platforms.

Add Users to a Subscription via CSV Import

Administrators can now add users to their company's subscription by uploading a CSV file, e.g., an export of a group of Google contacts.

Per-Recipient Email Tracking

We are happy to announce the release of a much requested feature: per-recipient tracking!

This feature is available from today for all our Business customers and will allow you to have detailed information about your email open rate for each individual recipient in emails sent to several people. You will be able to know if an email has been opened by a specific client or colleague even as they are part of a group of contacts you reached out to. You will also find details in the activity stream regarding what time and where the email has been opened.

We are currently testing the feature in this beta version, if you wish to activate it please go to your Gmelius settings and select “per recipient tracking” below the Receive a read receipt (Track emails) feature.

A pop-up will appear asking you to activate the feature, to do so click on the switch and make sure it turns blue.

The feature being still optimised do let us know of any issue you encounter when using it.

We are currently experiencing performance issues on a small cluster of our servers, and those have a direct impact on the tracking's functionality.

Our team is fully aware of the issue, and are sprinting to determine the root-cause of the issue and push a fix ASAP. Their goal is to not only return performance to an ideal level but also avoid future performance degradation issues with the same cause.

Meet your new dashboard 😻

Today we are excited to announce the release of a brand new dashboard!

As we will release more features to Gmelius in the coming weeks - and you (our customers) will have the possibility to do more with the data - we knew we needed a more robust system and interface. For the past months we’ve worked on building a new version of the dashboard using a new framework that will support our future plans.

Our updated interface is both more polished and better aligned with our branding. Every view has been updated based on customer feedback and current UI best practices. Thanks to a completely new framework under the hood and modular components, your data loads faster.

We’ve added clarity to the different sections of the dashboard and organized the features and pages into five primary sections:

  • Dashboard (Home): This page will display a feed for your tracked emails along with key metrics (ETA: beginning of May).

  • Automations: This section will regroup all your current and future automated tasks, such as your Cc and Bcc rules.

  • Templates: the place where you can create and edit your templates.

  • Settings: where you can manage your features and personalize your use of Gmelius.

  • Account: different tabs to manage your account and Gmelius subscription.

  • Fixed an issue with draft IDs when multiple compose windows are active.
