Release of Email Assignments

We just released a new feature: Email Assignments. This functionality will boost your email productivity, your team’s collaboration and your inbox in general. No need to forward conversations and no risk of reply-all incidents.

It only takes two clicks for our Business subscribers to assign an email to any colleague who is part of their subscription. The assignment process is incredibly easy.

If an email needs to be delegated or transferred to a teammate you just have to select their name on your email assignment drop-down list and the conversation will automatically sync into the assigned person’s inbox.

Once you have assigned an email, your teammate will receive an alert to let them know that you assigned them that particular conversation.

Per-recipient tracking compatible with "Undo" and "Send & Archive"

We made our per-recipient tracking technology compatible with the Gmail labs:

  • Undo Send

Release of Shared Kanban Boards

For the past three months you have been able to manage your workflow better thanks to our new agile task management solution, but it doesn’t end here!

The team has been working tirelessly to give you even more, and we are thrilled to announce one major and key update with the release of shared kanban boards with real-time collaboration.

Business users of the same company's subscription are from now on able to work together on task-cards right inside their inbox and without delays thanks to real-time technology. Task related emails can be shared through a collective board without the need of forwarding them on.

You and your colleagues can now collaborate on each other’s emails and tasks without endless conversation threads and with no risk of reply-all incidents.

Pricing change on January 15th

The Gmelius community is growing fast! We want to keep providing you with the unbeatable quality of service you have come to know and love and the constant development of the solution (coming soon: email collaboration, CRM, mobile app) that made and make Gmelius your favourite email service.

In order to do so, we will be increasing the prices of our Business tier on January 15th. All new subscribers will be paying $14/month (instead of $10/mo) for a Business subscription paid yearly and $19/month (instead of $15/mo) for a Business subscription paid monthly.

Wish to benefit from our old pricing before the change is made? Sign-up for a Business subscription by the January 14th and we will honor our previous pricing tiers.

Campaigns (Mail Merge)

In just a couple of steps, Business customers are now able to upload long lists of people to contact, prepare template emails including personalized variables, bulk send them and get detailed data on their performance with individual open rates and click statistics!

Click tracking, Snooze and Markdown improvements

As from today, Business customers can track links part of their emails! This feature was one of the most requested and we're glad to announce it's now part of Gmelius.

Snoozing a conversation from the message view will now redirect you to the newest thread instead of the Inbox view, saving you mouse clicks.

Finally, we completely rewrote our Markdown converter and added support for task lists and tables.

Gmelius 8! New To Do app and Inbox support

We're excited to announce that a brand new version of Gmelius is currently being released on a rolling basis!

Gmelius 8 has been rewritten from scratch. Our main goals were to offer more stability, increase performance and provide you with new and exciting features in the coming weeks and months. Network requests have now been optimized to avoid unnecessary bandwidth usage. We have also made a priority to give you all the information you could want when you want it with enhanced real time display.

Inbox support

Gmelius 8 is now completely compatible with Inbox by Gmail.

New To Do app

Gmelius 8 introduces a brand new Kanban like to-do list, where you can create task cards, turn emails into tasks and !use intuitive drag and drop gestures to move your tasks from one list (column) to the other.

Shared notes

Business subscribers can share notes with anyone on their Gmelius subscription, including those who weren’t previously on the conversation.

New App menu

A new menu has been put in place. And much more...

When will I get Gmelius 8?

Over the next couple of days, your account will automatically update to Gmelius 8.

Is there anything I'll need to do?

Not a thing.

Will my current configuration and data also be migrated?

We've made the transition as seamless as possible and you will not lose any previously snoozed, scheduled emails, templates etc.

Referral Program

We are happy to announce the release of our new Referral Program.

This program is available to all our free users and will allow you to give and get extra feature credits.

If you wish to try it, go to your dashboard, get to your Account tab and click on the “Get Free Credits” button, you will then be able to write down a friend's details.

As soon as your friend installs and logs on to Gmelius you will both get 10 extra credits for each feature.

That's an extra 10 snooze, schedule, to-do etc. for each of you!

You can also use your unique link to get extra feature credits by sharing it on social media or other platforms.

Add Users to a Subscription via CSV Import

Administrators can now add users to their company's subscription by uploading a CSV file, e.g., an export of a group of Google contacts.

Per-Recipient Email Tracking

We are happy to announce the release of a much requested feature: per-recipient tracking!

This feature is available from today for all our Business customers and will allow you to have detailed information about your email open rate for each individual recipient in emails sent to several people. You will be able to know if an email has been opened by a specific client or colleague even as they are part of a group of contacts you reached out to. You will also find details in the activity stream regarding what time and where the email has been opened.

We are currently testing the feature in this beta version, if you wish to activate it please go to your Gmelius settings and select “per recipient tracking” below the Receive a read receipt (Track emails) feature.

A pop-up will appear asking you to activate the feature, to do so click on the switch and make sure it turns blue.

The feature being still optimised do let us know of any issue you encounter when using it.
