Major Feature Release

Now customers can be charged automatically for the remaining payment instead of sending customers the invoice for the remaining amount. We hope it will reduce friction and improve the deposit experience for you and your customers. We are still using Shopify APIs to develop the above.

You can now add an extra processing fee to products for deposit-related options. Please click on Plans and Settings to enable the above feature:

There are 3 types of Fee Types

1. No Charge

No extra charge is added. If there is a product A($1000) with a deposit option $100, customer will be charged $100 as deposit and $900 as the remaining amount.

2. Charge on Initial Amount of the product.

Extra Charge is added for the initial deposit value. If there is a product A ($1000) with a deposit option $100 and 'percentage extra to be charged' to %10, customer will be charged $110 ($100 + 10% of deposit amount $100) as deposit and $900 as the remaining amount.

3. Charge on Full Amount of the produc

Extra Charge is added for the whole product amount. If there is a product A ($1000) with a deposit option $100 and 'percentage extra to be charged' to %10, customer will be charged $110 ($100 + 10% of deposit amount $100 = $10) as deposit and $990 ($900 + 10% of $900 = $90) as the remaining amount.
