• (RI) MFA not sending code Solved an accessibility issue with our text message providers (email MFA was however working fine) that didn't allow you to verify the phone number or use phone-based MFA.

Transformation Engine

• (SR) V7 removal in URL

The "v7" parameter had been by default removed for all tokens created on or after Oct. 20th. It is therefore not needed anymore and can also be removed for the tokens created before, upon request. More information here

Added metrics for referrers, compressions ratios, most viewed assets in the "Stats & Logs" general menu.

• (SR) User roles refactoring

Preparation of upcoming changes to add granularity in user's role, added action to promote a user to owner (and make the requester an Administrator).

• (SR) SAML settings improvement

SLS target URL and other configurations fields are now checked for valid and/or necessary information at validation.

• (RI) Translations and languages

Fixed a wrong behavior that overwrote to English some existing translations (menu items in other languages) of the interface.

• (RI) Watermark colors

Improved the Watermark tab to see the actual effect of current setting for static and dynamic watermarking, and restricted background colors to the ones displaying accurately.

• (SR) 360 plugin improvements (v2.7.0)

Added Y axis spin and possibility to change icons styles, as per GitHub request. Improved support for zoom with mouse wheel and touch screen pinch, as well as auto-play on mobile. Solved some misbehavior of image resize when resizing window. All details here.

Improved flows of flushing in scope "original", for some of the CDN providers. Doc here

The Admin "Stats & Logs" dashboard is now showing the entire selected period instead of a timeframe limited to the 5th of August. The "referrers" table have also been improved to show the latest data instead of the overall global.

• (RI) Custom CNAMEs handling

Added capability to edit an existing custom CNAME and regenerate the TLS certificates.

• (SR) UI now available in Spanish

The whole interface have been translated in Spanish, so yes, está disponible en español. And we will add more languages very soon, stay tuned and let us know which ones you are missing or want to contribute to!

• (SR) 360 plugin improvements

Added functionalities of full-screen magnifier and zoom with mouse-wheel. Modified behavior as per popular request for autoplay and scrollbar. All details in the doc here.

We now support IDP (Identity Provider) initiated SAML flows, that will ease integration with your systems and access federation. Doc here

All the key areas and useful information for onboarding is now dynamically shown at first login with a simple tutorial.

Converted the log tables to use a better layout, improving readability and adding 25 items per page option to the pagination.

We continued to improve the 360 plugin with the following requested features: Add support for countIndexFrom parameter to add flexible start number, zoom with mouse wheel, and pinch zoom on mobile. Additionally, URL formats are now replaced with accurate v7 formats. All details in the doc here.

• (BT) Whitelisting now filters all file type

Whitelisting a URL used to work for image format, but not for proxied files. It now also analyses any file requested that is not an image (incl. pdf, video, zip, etc.). Doc here.

The Help & Support tab system now displays the complete history of tickets, with detailed information such as last interaction origin and date.

• (BT) Akamai invalidation support

We implemented the necessary logic and functions needed to perform the Invalidation on our CDN provider Akamai. It is performed using the same rule-set and from the same interface as other CDN providers, from within your admin console (and of course from the API). Doc here

Following all recent improvements requests, we focused in order to maximise the number of new features delivered this month, namely (but not limited to): Data autoplay, Fullscreen's scrollbar hide, Play/Pause/Stop buttons, etc. All details in the doc here.

Following synchronisation issues with our previous dashboard system, we re-engineered completely the Cloudimage use & consumption dashboards (CDN, Storage). We also reworked CDN metrics that were not previously as detailed (hit/miss and TTFB) to help you get more insight into your traffic. Check it out and let us know what you want to see there next!

• (SR) Automated CNAMES addition

You are now able to add CNAMEs directly into your admin console without requiring us to upload your own SSL certificate, as it will be automatically generated. Then the only step is for you to register the CNAME at your domain provider and you're all set, it will be active within the day.

• (RI) v7 invalidation prefix

Some v7 URLs were not invalidated on 2 of our CDNs providers (CDNetworks and Cloudfront) because of a faulty analysis and filtering of the URL, containing v7. Now all URLs are verified and invalidation requests are submitted according to the CDNs specific format.

• (RI) Akamai CDN invalidation

Specificities in Akamai CDN invalidation requests formatting made invalidation randomly failing. We are now controlling and reissuing invalidation requests until it succeeds. You can follow the actual status and result on your invalidation page for each request made.

Invalidations are now easier with an added feature to replay the invalidation after it's completed or if the cache could not be emptied by our CDN partners at some point.

• (RI) CNAMES saving

Modification or addition of CNAMEs was impossible due to a missing parameter. Now fixed and parameters reorganised for clarity of list.

• (RI) Phone number verification

Greatly improved phone number verification and fixed wrong country selector behavior. Also now the country selector is searchable.

Transformation Engine

• (SR) New BOUNDMIN function

With this new transformation function, the image will be resized to the destination dimensions using a ratio that is calculated on the smaller side, unlike the funct=bound which does the transformation based on the larger side. Doc here.

• (SR) Direct payment for invoices

We added for your convenience the possibility to register for a direct payment method so your bills are automatically processed every month, ensuring no service interruption, with a 3DS secure payment compatibility, processed via Stripe, for your safety.

• (SR) Partner dashboard

As a partner, you will have a detailed view over all your tokens, allowing to see at one glance all your Customers names with the associated revenues.

• (SR) Cloudimage plugin on Magento Marketplace

Following an in-depth review by the Magento team, the Cloudimage transformation and acceleration plugin is approved and now directly available from the Magento Marketplace. Doc here.

• (SR) UX & UI Improvements

You can now decide on and directly see the token's personalized name in the admin interface, while the copying button still copies the token actual value/name. The token selector is now searchable to ease the management of various environments you would have. Also, if you registered a bank card with us, you can click a button to directly pay an invoice. Check it out and let us know what you think!

• (SR) Manager role implementation

We created the new role: "Manager", that has the access of a Write user + can invite users up to Manager role. This role can see the Account section but without Plan and Billing. Ideal for partners or contributors in your organisation who have to focus on the delivery/configuration part (available only at Company level).

• (SR) New Partner Accounts tab

Referral Partners can now create and manage accounts for their customers from the new Partner Accounts tab under billing. The partner will be owner of this account and can invite users from his/her customer from the newly created customer account. No welcome email will be send to the customer when creating an account from the Partner Accounts tab.

• (SR) Magento2 plugin v2

We took your feedback and improved our Magento2 connector to the Cloudimage transformation engine. It is now completely automated for activation (no need to modify your templates anymore) and optimises all images as it is 100% compatible with the Magento Luma theme. Doc here.

• (SR) Microsoft Azure Blob storage

Cloudimage can now fetch images stored in private Azure Blobs in addition to public Blobs. Doc here.

We improved user experience in both onboarding and MFA sections as per observations and your feedbacks so it is now mandatory only in relevant cases but still can be tested anytime to confirm the procedure end to end.

You have the possibility to name a personalized header (and set its value) that will be sent to origin for all asset requests made via your token. This header can for example be used for authentication or traceability purposes. Doc is here.
