Workspace now enables you to easily schedule a video call with byDesign team members or initiating a group video call.

In order to schedule a group video call, you need to log in your Workspace, go to Messages, click on the icon with a video symbol on the upper right corner just next to your profile. Thus, a video scheduling flow will be triggered and you can select the date and time.

If you want to schedule a video meeting with a byDesign team member, you need to go to Messages, right hand side panel with your profile photo, Your team section, click on the video icon next to the byDesign team member´s name.

We configured privacy rules to protect critical information shared throughout the users/client flow. We´ve set up privacy rules on all sensitive data.

 

Fix

  

We hide recurring request option if it does not comply with our recurring requests logic.

If the client enters a due date greater than 7 days, then the weekly recurring request won’t be available. Hence, the weekly recurrence is only available to request with a due date of less than 7 days.

If the client enters a due date greater than 14 days, then the Weekly and Bi-weekly recurring request won’t be available.

If the client enters a due date greater than 30 days, then the Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly recurring request won’t be available.

Clients, using Workspace in Responsive mode, can now easily see whether they have requests to approve. We show an icon for requests to approve when workspace is responsive. Client can click on it and land to all RFA requests from the Requests list.

New clients now receive an automated notification message (for first three messages) so that they will know when their first requests are complete.

Recurring Requests

Workspace supports recurring requests. Clients can now mark a request as a recurring one and select its occurrence (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly). Once a request is marked as recurring, further details (e.g. date and day) are visible in the request in Workspace.

Note that you can cancel a recurring request or change its cadence. The new recurring request is automatically recreated in Workspace on the date which the client chooses.

byDesign team members can view their recurring requests sorted by a due date on the right hand side of their Workspace.

When a Success Manager submits a request with a status of Ready for Approval, then the hours submitted by byDesign are automatically accounted to the client´s used hours.

Each time there’s a revision on a request, the system calculates the difference between original RFA and new RFA time, and then this difference is added to used marketing hours in client´s used hours.

Each section is more responsive and new collapsed sidebars give more room to use Workspace on smaller screens.

Some fresh byDesign Workspace updates coming your way this week. We'd also like to announce that Slack access will be continued until December 2, 2021. We are diligently working on bringing a consistent and enjoyable experience for Messages across all devices. We are also aware of ongoing file download issues. As a temporary workaround, right click the file to open it in a new tab. This will allow you to save it directly.

Sub-requests are finally here. This will help you, your team, and your Success Manager manage requests that have multiple, moving parts. On your dashboard or on the requests list, you'll now see a little arrow on the request indicating it's a sub-request. In addition, you can access the parent request or sub-request via the Request Record.
