Some fresh byDesign Workspace updates coming your way this week. We'd also like to announce that Slack access will be continued until December 2, 2021. We are diligently working on bringing a consistent and enjoyable experience for Messages across all devices. We are also aware of ongoing file download issues. As a temporary workaround, right click the file to open it in a new tab. This will allow you to save it directly.

Sub-requests are finally here. This will help you, your team, and your Success Manager manage requests that have multiple, moving parts. On your dashboard or on the requests list, you'll now see a little arrow on the request indicating it's a sub-request. In addition, you can access the parent request or sub-request via the Request Record.

You are now able to mention someone from the byDesign team in comments and messages. Next release, you will be able to mention other members of your time, and also be mentioned yourself with SMS and email notifications.

From the ground-up, we've built a new Slack bot that sends dynamic notifications. This means you will receive notifications from the byDesign bot instead of Slackbot. Below you will find the first batch of notifications that you will start to receive.

Sub-requests are finally here. As a Success Manager, you can make a sub-request by clicking "+ Add" on the parent request. If you have a sub-request on your dashboard or request list, it will be indicated with an arrow.

For Success Managers, the first version of the workload "dashboard" is available. To access, click the word "Assignee" on the request record. This pop-up will display either a list of Designers or Specialists, as well as the number of requests they have due on the day of the request you have open.

As a bonus, reply to the SMS notification of a new message and it will be sent back to Workspace automatically.

byDesign Workspace is now available on Zapier! What does that mean? You can now integrate Workspace with your favorite tools like Asana, Trello, email, or any of their 3,000+ integrations.

Do things like send new files to your email automatically when they're uploaded, create new requests from your own Asana workspace, or send new comments to your phone as texts.

Reach out to your Success Manager for more details and to receive a beta invitation!

You're now able to download all files within a group of files within the Request Record. Download all byDesign Files or all Client Files at once without having to manually download each one, one-by-one.

The Request Revision button showed intermittently for different user types across web and mobile applications. This is now corrected with the ability to request revisions as expected again.

This issue with downloading certain files has been addressed. This issue pertained to AWS permissions and is now corrected. If you continue to experience issues, please log a report with your Success Manager.
